Catchy images often say more than a thousand words. That's why we'd like to appeal to you.

Have you ever taken a picture of a squirrel on Athena or a beautiful landscape photo on your walk from Athena. Then our photo contest is a perfect fit for you.

Your photo archive undoubtedly contains hidden treasures.

Submit them and who knows, you might win our nature photo contest.

What can you submit?

All nature photos are eligible. The only condition is that the photos are taken on or in the vicinity (max. 10 km.) of our Athena parks. And that we may use the photos afterwards, subject to naming, to promote Athena.

This allows us to show our visitors the beautiful nature on and around our Athena parks.

Maximum 10 photos of wildlife, landscapes, plants, close-ups of natural scenes and textures, trees ...

We are looking for nature photos. Not necessarily of people. For privacy reasons, we ask that if there are individuals in the photos, they have given permission for the photos to be published and used by Athena.

How to participate.

Send your high-resolution photos to info@naturisme-athena.org. Use "nature photo contest" as the subject. For example, use (the free version of) Wetransfer (link).

For each photo, please state

• Category
• Athena park where the photo was taken at or nearby (max. 10 km)
• Brief description

NOTE: Entries for, best winter photo, must be submitted by Dec. 3, 2023. Other photos by Jan. 15.

The winner of the winter photo will be notified Dec. 5. All other winners will be notified Jan. 16.
