Athena le Perron is located in the East Cantons near the highest point in Belgium. A great place for hiking and getting out in nature.
The tourist office of the East Cantons has developed a brochure called "Kids on tour" for families with hikes tailored for children.

On each of our 10 walks, there is always something for young and old to enjoy. Some tours lead along the water, others past a castle or ruins. Beautiful caves and rocks, forests and meadows to traverse and bridges and streams to cross. Along the way we walk across footbridges and root paths and small trails and discover plants, trees and animals.

Under "Did you know?" your curiosity will be triggered and you will also learn something. Via "Game Tip" you will find entertainment tips for each circular walk

The children are showing the way!

Your children are a little older? Super. Then look for our wind rose. We incorporated that into our QR code. All 10 walks have such a rose. Just scan it and you land on an alternative map. It is specially designed for children. Little ones can prove themselves as navigators. All junctions and landscape elements such as bridges, barriers, raised shelters ... are optically marked. This makes orientation so easy that you can let your kids take the lead. Just give it a try.
