Wine tasting - sustainable wines
Pieter Greeve, an avid naturist and owner of duurzamewijnen.be, will take us through his inspiring story on July 14.
He imports wines from winemakers he knows personally who work in a sustainable way, letting the soil, the "terroir," do the work.
With passion, Pieter talks about the winemakers, their domains and the special wines they produce, after which we will taste these wines ourselves.
About eight sustainably made wines will be offered for tasting, ranging from sparkling and white, to rosé and red.
If you like a wine, you can place an order and it will be delivered to Athena a few days later.
Contribution: € 15 p.p.

Pieter Greeve - sustainable wines
What could be finer than having a nice glass of wine on vacation in the Pyrenees? Really staying as a god in France. And if that wine is made in a sustainable way, perfection comes close. And then I hear this: "Pieter, why don't you do something with this hobby, this passion of yours?".
Thus began the idea of this wine business, in the Pyrenees, over a refined dinner. Sustainable wines are made by people with a vision, a clear goal: let the soil, the "terroir" do the work! The process that follows is as pure and natural as possible, respecting that same terroir and its product: the grapes. The enthusiasm of these people I have adopted and now want to pass on in the form of their product: A delicious wine made sustainably, moreover!
