Wellness House Rules

Our house rules guarantee safety, order, tranquility and hygiene. This allows everyone to fully enjoy our wellness. If you choose our wellness at Athena, we expect you to subscribe to these rules. If we notice that you violate the rules, we ask you to leave the complex. In that case, you will pay the full entrance fee and are not entitled to a refund.

These house rules regulate the (legal) position between parties prior to an agreement.

• Age
  Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Clothing and slippers
  You may not enter the complex with shoes, boots or other footwear.
  Saunas you enter barefoot. So leave your slippers outside. Only in the steam room may you keep them on.

• Hygiene
  Before using the wellness, we ask that you thoroughly cleanse your body in the areas provided.
  It is mandatory to shower before entering the baths, saunas or steam room.
  In the saunas, please sit with your entire body on a towel.

• Changing room and access to the wellness area
  It is mandatory to leave your access card in the provided place for the entire duration of your wellness visit
  Use the official wellness entrance
  We advise you not to bring valuables with you.
  Athena is not liable for loss or theft of your belongings.

• Food and drink
  Please eat enough before entering the sauna or bathhouse.
  Taking food with you is not allowed.
  Drink alcohol in moderation. The sale of alcohol may be refused at any time.
  Only water in your own drinking container may be taken into the wellness area.
  Plastic is not allowed in the sauna due to the high temperatures and possible release of harmful substances.

• Respectful attitude
  We require everyone to be respectful of all attendees.
  Aggressive or racist behavior, unwanted or desired intimacies, insults or physical violence are strictly prohibited.
  We ask that you respect any instructions given by our volunteer wellness leaders.
  To ensure peace and quiet, we ask that you be quiet in all of our facilities.

• Silence Thursdays
  Every Thursday you can come and enjoy a full silence sauna. We ask for everyone's cooperation in maintaining complete silence.
  If you still like to chat with one of the other campers, please take a walk to the pool area.

• Opgietingen
  The infusions are given by our enthusiastic volunteers on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We ask that you respect any instructions given by the warmers.
  • We distinguish between social infusions and silence infusions.
    • During social ceremonies it is permitted to have a word with each other in silence
    • At the silence infusion, we ask for complete silence.
• (Fire) safety
  Do not place towels or other textiles to dry in the saunas.
  Athena accepts no liability for injuries, allergic reactions or injuries.

• Reservations, prices and payment
  We reserve the right to correct incorrect information on our website and in our brochures or advertising, both before and after orders or reservations.

• Not permitted
  These items or actions are prohibited:

• • smartphones, iPads and laptops

• • mobile calling

• • taking photos or other recordings

• • occupying chairs and loungers without using them

• • taking glasses or food into wet areas

• • desired and unwelcome intimacies
