The Pikkedieve
De Pikkedieve, a band from Antwerp featuring Glenn Pellis (guitar), Marc Stalmans (vocals), Victor Boers (drums), and Werner Cools (guitar).
Together, they perform songs—sometimes covers—but always in the Antwerp dialect.
In June 2021, Glenn and Marc got together again to sing a few more “songs.” Since they “USE” songs and music by other musicians—adding Antwerp-style lyrics to them or using ones that already have them—they’re basically borrowing from others. So the name “De Pikkedieve” was quickly born 😀.
They perform covers of songs by Ed Kooyman, Katastroof, Stafke Fabri, Serge Van Oppens, De Strangers, Filet ‘d Anvers, and many others…
