We look back with great gratitude on the past five years in which Vianney and Melody were the driving forces behind Athena Helios.

With a huge dose of passion and commitment and made Athena Helios a vibrant meeting place where everyone felt at home. Their efforts did not go unnoticed. In 2022, they proudly received the Bare Compass Award - a wonderful recognition of their hard work and dedication.

Now they are taking a new path, towards the south of France.
We wish them tremendous success and happiness in their new adventure.

The departure of Vianney and Melody marks a new era for Athena Helios, and it also brings with it a special opportunity. We are looking for enthusiastic operators who want to start working at this beautiful location from April 2025. Vacancy: manager of the naturist campsite Athena Helios

Location: Athena Helios, Grevenbos 2, 3078 Meerbeek

Are you ready for a unique challenge in a beautiful place where nature, ecology and hospitality come together? Athena Helios, a small-scale naturist campsite in the wooded area of Meerbeek (Flemish Brabant), is looking for an enthusiastic couple to manage the campsite with passion and dedication.

About Athena Helios
Athena Helios is a naturist campsite belonging to vzw Athena a naturist association with thousands of members, 3 campsites and its own magazine.
Our campsite Athena Helios offers guests a relaxed and respectful environment with a strong focus on sustainability and nature experience.
With 20 tourist pitches, comfortable safari tents, and about 90 annual pitches, we welcome both tourists and regular visitors.
Thanks to its central location, Brussels and Leuven are easy to reach.
In addition to overnight stays, our guests enjoy a swimming pool, a new sauna, and a cozy bar where cooperation with volunteers is key.
Even the care of the goats, a beloved attraction for young and old, is part of the unique charm of our campsite.

Your role
As responsible operators, you run the campground from A to Z and live on the property. This includes:

• Managing bookings and guest inquiries.
• Coordination and collaboration with volunteers, including bar operation.
• Maintenance of the campsite, plumbing and swimming pool.
• Administrative tasks and orders.
• Ensuring hospitality and creating a nice atmosphere.

During the busy summer months you will work with job students, and throughout the year you will receive administrative support from the organization.

Who are we looking for?

• Preferably a couple:Person 1 works 24 hours per week, person 2 works 10 hours per week (annual basis, negotiable and combination with remote job possible).
• Hands-on mentality: You like to be hands-on and have a flexible attitude.
• Customer-oriented and empathetic:You have a service-oriented attitude and excellent social skills.
• Language skills: fluent Dutch, good French, and basic English.
• Technically savvy: You have basic knowledge of maintenance work and learn new systems quickly.
• Ecologically aware:You share our sustainable values.
• Independent work ethic and willingness to roll up your own sleeves.
• First aid skills:In possession of a first aid certificate or willing to obtain one.
• Computer skills: you can work with a reservation system, cash register system and various applications, and are able to learn new systems quickly

A higher education degree or leadership experience is a plus, but not a must.
