Experience the atmosphere of naturism at the Open Day at Athena!

Are you curious to know what it is like to recreate in complete freedom, in a beautiful green environment where respect, peace and nature are central?
Then the Open Day Nude Recreation on Sunday, June 15, 2025 is the perfect time to get acquainted with Athena Ossendrecht without any obligation!

This day is an initiative of NFN Open & Bloot, in which dozens of nude locations in the Netherlands open their doors to curious visitors. And of course Athena is participating! An excellent opportunity to discover the unique atmosphere on our site, to ask questions, to participate in an activity or just quietly look around.

What can you expect on Athena?

We are ready to welcome you with open arms from 10am . We would like to make it a nice and relaxing day together.

• Free access to the grounds
• Reception between 10 am and 12 pm with a free cup of coffee or tea and a delicious piece of pastry
• Informal tour via a marked walking route through the estate
• A handy info folder with our Athena Magazine, brochure and practical info
• Opportunity to join immediately and enjoy the benefits of Athena membership

Between noon and 2 p.m., our small kitchen is open - ideal for a nice lunch of sandwiches, pizza or a light pasta.

Special activities at the Open House:

• 10:30 a.m. - Join an invigorating session of Aquagym in the outdoor pool
• 11 am - 4 pm - Continuous screening of the short film "Bare" (15 min), a moving coming-of-age film about daring to expose yourself
• 1:30 p.m. Petanque, for those who like to relax in a friendly atmosphere
• 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Pool open for cooling off or a sporty swim
• 2 pm - 6 pm - Access to our wellness area with sauna, infrared cabin and steam room (introductory rate: €7 p.p.)

Whether you are curious, have been toying with the idea for a while, or want to bring a friend along to taste the atmosphere: you are welcome.
The Open Day is approachable, welcoming and without obligation. Many of our current members and regular guests once took their first step at an Open Day - and kept coming back afterwards.

Good to know:

At Athena, being naked is the norm. During the Open Day, you will have every opportunity to learn about naturism at your own pace. Any doubts or questions?
Our volunteers will be there to guide you, reassure you and show you around.
