They have been camping at Athena Ossendrecht for over 20 years and tell about the relaxed atmosphere on a naturist campsite.

During the day it is warm at Athena Le Perron, but high up in the Ardennes it can get very cool in the evening and at night.
Now all of our safari tents at Le Perron are equipped with a pellet stove.
In the evening cozy up by the stove.
After our ceramic mugs, bamboo toothbrushes and organic cotton beach bags, our drinking bottles have now arrived.
These water bottles are anything but ordinary drinking bottles: they are made in the Netherlands from 100% biodegradable polyethylene.
Still looking for a new water bottle for your summer cycling trips? Choose our environmentally friendly 100% biodegradable water bottle!
Our goodies are exclusively available at our parks.
On Thursday 30 June Athena was a guest at Wijs on Radio2. Presenter Karolien Debecker asked about the experiences with naturism among the Radio2 listeners. It was a fun evening with many enthusiastic reactions from the listeners.
You should have just received our summer issue.
The season of living, eating and enjoying the outdoors to the full has begun! At our parks, we have already spent a number of wonderful weekends in good company. There will be many more to come. In Ossendrecht, the finishing touches have been added to the club house. Also in Helios and Le Perron, everyone and everything is ready to make it another great summer.
Nature, relaxation and ambience
Camping-trippers, glamping-weekenders, caravan-stayers, mobilhomers and day-trippers, welcome! Rest in abundance on and around our domains. Sunbathing, reading, walking, cycling and swimming outdoors in the nude. Can it get any more delicious? Yes, with performances, dance evenings, sports tournaments, mini-clubs and workshops.
Do you have family, friends or acquaintances who would also like to discover the fun of naturism at Athena? Feel free to invite them.
Long live the volunteers!
The ten points for atmosphere and cosiness are largely due to the many helping hands, heads and hearts. Are you already a volunteer at Athena or would you like to become one? Then join one of our teams. You can read how to do that further on in this magazine.
Still busy bees
Things are buzzing with fun at Helios, thanks to the new winged residents of the vegetable garden and to winning the Blootkompas Award. Nick and Lins explain how the still fairly young naturist movement in South America works. We ourselves went exploring in Corsica - the miniature continent in the Mediterranean - and spotted the latest camping trends.
In the meantime, we also had beautiful and sustainable items made: soft Turkish towels and 100% biodegradable Dutch drinking cans. Signed Athena and soon for sale at the reception of our parks. For an even more successful holiday.
See you in the sun!

Varied walk in the heart of the Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide
You can enjoy the boundlessness in Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide! This diverse and dynamic nature reserve lies on both sides of the Belgian-Dutch border. Vast, unspoiled landscapes of heathland, fens, dunes, woods, meadows and polders alternate.
Among other things, the enormous diversity of this piece of nature is of considerable ecological and cultural-historical value. Rare plants and animals live there on fertile soil. Visitors can literally and figuratively catch their breath there - on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. The Border Park is part of the Natura 2000 network, which provides sustainable protection for the most important nature areas throughout Europe.
Athena Ossendrecht is situated at the edge of this unique area.
For this great tour, we first take the bike or the car and drive 5 to 10 minutes to camping Hazeduinen. There you can park and have a drink afterwards. The hike is about 12 kilometres long and introduces you to some of the most beautiful places in the Grenspark. On this route it is a lot quieter than during the walks that depart from De Vroente.
