Last summer we successfully launched our cheerful, practical and eco-friendly new collection. The result of an inspiring collaboration with Studio Basil - which also provides the layout of our magazines - and Merchery, a supplier that values sustainability.
As an association that respects people and nature, we wished to partner with a merchandising partner that shares the same values.
Merchery believes in quality, transparency and products that are both aesthetically and environmentally conscious. The company uses only responsible raw materials: 100% organic cotton, recycled steel and aluminum, and alternatives to harmful plastics: recovered and biodegradable plastics. Klapkot from Breda, genius in its simplicity (link)
Klapkot is the young venture of a creative Breda couple. Their ingenious design provides lots of extra living space. Moreover, it is built on a trailer and thus stands on wheelsand.
Year-round comfortable camping is the goal, under the motto 'Push your limits. Unfold them!
The ideal place to stay for those who want just a little more luxury and comfort.
Architect Christel Smeets and entrepreneur Bart Verdeijen had had enough of their caravan and conjured up the Klapkot on the drawing board. With a nod to the renowned café 't Klapcot and as a reference to the functionality the functionality that makes this vacation home so special.
For transportation, she is folded down for easy and compliant access to the road. Once on site, it unfolds in all its glory into a pleasant interior space, equal in area to a spacious caravan plus awning. Ideal in worse weather conditions - cold, rain and strong winds - which unfortunately are not exceptional in Belgium and the Netherlands.
A cleverly designed interior and exterior combined with technical innovation thus. Original, practical and beautiful, with warm and natural materials. Klapkot wedeveloped three types of vacation homes together with us. This allows us to perfectly match the wishes of our campers: one or two bedrooms, a bunk bed for the children, own layout of the living room ...

Vritomartis Naturist Resort
Plenty of sun, sea and other bliss in Crete
Vritomartis Naturist Resort is a renowned, modern naturist hotel in Chora Sfakion, in the beautiful southand of Crete. It was founded in 1992 by the local family Dourountakis. Which was ahead of its time. Today telg Nikos manages this fantastic place, along with a team of about fifty employees dat happily takes care of and pampers the guests. Both seasoned naturists and "beginners" are more than welcome.

Summer mode on!
She was a long time coming, but finally the sun is basking our naked bodies. Ascension weekend and Pentecost were great in terms of weather and atmosphere. For the rest rain, rain and more rain this past spring ... Fortunately, our guests could go to our nice and warm wellness.
Now we just hope the summer is unstoppable. Our team is ready to make it a great time. Our parks are in great shape and there is always something new to experience. A lot of great things happened since the last edition of the Athena magazine. The adventure playground at Ossendrecht and the handsome sauna at Helios are a reality. You can read more about them in this issue, but for the real experience you have to go there.
If you head toward Meerbeek, be sure to bring your hiking boots. The path from the campsite to the bat bunker, the radar station and the Vossenhol play forestis definitely worthwhile. Get the tzatziki and retsina ready and flip to page 15, where you'll end up in Crete, at the handsome naturist resort Vritomartis. Add a baguette and on to charming Le Couderc in the verdant Dordogne. The third-generation owners welcome you with open arms.
Or in July and August, just stay cozy by the pool with us. Enjoy the sun on your bare skin. But do so wisely, protect her in a skin-friendly and ecological way. Browse quickly for our tips. Along the way, you'll also come across Zoppa's harmless yet effective homemade soaps, shampoo bars and dishwashing products. A clean local story. Finally, we think critically about piercings and tattoos within a family naturist context.
In short: there is much fun and inspiring to read. Enjoy and hope to see you at our parks.

Last year we started a plan to address the signage at our parks. It needed to be brighter, more inviting and more contemporary. Determining the right content, the best design, the most suitable materials and the ideal supplier was ... quite a journey.
Meanwhile, the first clear, playful and durable signs at Ossendrecht are ready. Now we can fine-tune where necessary from practice. To then continue working on our three parks later this year and in 2025.
More of that to come. We are already proud.
The original sauna arrived at Athena in early April: organic shape, cozy interior and fun "scaly" exterior. Fits perfectly into the wooded surroundings. After installation, the electrical connection was put in place and the area around the sauna was beautifully landscaped. Includes outdoor shower and a fire pit with a couple of ergonomic lounge chairs. Beautiful!
This will be the hot spot at Helios to recharge and unwind. The sauna is free to all campers, renters, premium members, regular guests and day visitors. This during opening hours. In July and August, this is anyway on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Additional times will be announced via the activity board.
