Athena Helios, paradise for animal lovers

Welcome faithful four-legged friends!

Well-behaved, friendly dogs can join us on weekends or vacations at our park in Meerbeek. Plenty of entertainment and new things to discover here. From the campsite depart numerous beautiful hiking trails. Vrow walk and romping can be done on the large dogsmeadow that we specially constructed. In this shaded, fully fenced green area there is a cozy sitting area for the bosses. Walking on the domain is done on a leash. On the dog field and on the parking you will find wastebins for dog waste. Make sure that you always have bags on hand when you are with your dog on a walk.

Anyone who feels like it can help at the daily care of our four frisky goats - Lola, Willemina, Lili and Isabelle - and the tough but sweet goat Diego. Children love to have them along voethethem, play with them or just have a just pet them. During your stay at Athena Helios, be sure to check out the acrobatic talents of of our friendly flock.

Sweet buzz

Next to the vegetable garden, our pollen buddies live in four hives. The swarms can come and go in complete safety. They feed with nectar from the flowers in the park and from the blossoms in the forest next to the campsite. From May to August the bees fill the combs with honey and seal them with wax. Our beekeeper comes then regular visits to watch their industrious work smoothly. With any luck, during your summer vacation you can at Helios experience how he the honey harvestand of course you can taste it. As long as supplies last, jars of delicious Helios honey are for sale at the reception desk.
